About Brainchild
Brainchild Legacy Initiative is a registered nonprofit dedicated to discovering and amplifying the voices and talents of African children, including those from rural and underserved communities. We provide platforms and media exposure to showcase their talent and brilliance to the world.
Brainchildproject was officially unveiled on April 20th, 2024 during the book launch of our founder, Nengesha Mwar, in Abuja. What began as a heartfelt announcement has since grown into a registered nonprofit organization.
Vision: To see a world where every African child, regardless of background, is celebrated, supported, and globally recognized for their unique gifts, creativity, and voice.
Mission: To discover, amplify, and project the dreams of African children through storytelling, mentorship, and creative platforms that bridge the gap between talent, global recognition and support.
Our Programs
Our current programs include:
- Documentary interviews that capture children's voices and stories
- "Dreams on the Street" series asking children about their aspirations
- Funding and support opportunities for featured children
- Flagship event in summer 2026 bringing together children, creators, and supporters
We engage children at various events and public spaces, focusing particularly on rural and underserved communities. Our selection is based on discovering authentic stories and talents, with proper consent from parents or guardians.
